# Motorcoach Club

> Motorcoach Club (https://motorcoach.club) is a community and directory for
> motorcoach owners: people who own and travel in bus-conversion and Class A
> diesel pusher coaches such as Prevost, MCI and Newell. The directory lists
> businesses that serve those coaches: service centers, mobile mechanics,
> paint and body shops, coach builders, dealers, and motorcoach parks and
> resorts, with coach-specific facts where we have them.

Every business listing here is one the site shows publicly ("Live on site").
Each record says where it came from and when it was last updated. "Verified"
means Motorcoach Club spoke to the business by phone; listings without it
have not been confirmed that way. Hours, services and coach access can
change: call the business before you drive a coach there.

- Businesses by type, place or keyword, and the details of one business
- Coach access a business reported (big-rig entrance, pull-through, room to
  turn around, longest rig), only where the business reported it
- Upcoming community events and published travel routes

  - `near=LAT,LNG` with optional `radius_miles` (default 100, max 500):
    nearest first, each with `distance_miles`
  - `type` (or `organization_type`): service_center, mobile_mechanic,
    paint_body_shop, coach_builder, dealer, rv_park, motorcoach_resort,
    parts_supplier, storage_facility, tire_service, towing_service,
    detailing_service, electronics_installer, upholstery_shop and others
  - `q`: words in the business name, city, services, specialties or makes
  - `state`, `city`, `mobile_service=true`
  - `per_page` (default 20, max 100), `page`
- One business: `GET /api/v1/organizations/{slug}` (the `slug` or `id` from a
  search result). Includes opening hours when the listing's hours can be read
  exactly, coach makes the listing names, reported coach access, and the
  same schema.org JSON-LD as the business page.
- Events: `GET /api/v1/events` (`after_date`, `before_date`, `location`)
- Routes: `GET /api/v1/routes` (`difficulty_level`, `min_days`, `max_days`,
  `start_location`, `end_location`)

Every business record carries `source` ("Motorcoach Club"), `source_url` (its
page), `last_updated` and, when phoned, `last_verified`. Records never
include email addresses or personal information.

Requests are limited to 60 per minute per address; over that the API answers
429 with a Retry-After header. Responses may be cached for a few minutes.
